Sorry I haven’t been blogging about this show, I really lost a lot of interest in it. I’m a celebrity isn’t, well, what should I saw, a nicely smooth original program. It may be a hit over there in Britain, but, here, it’s just so crazy. Spencer and Heidi have quit three times, and returned three times, only to quit again, and never to return (finally). I’m not sure if it was really the Devil or God who was telling them what to do. I wish them well in Beverly Hills, and hope they become mature Christians.
Over time, Angela was evicted first, and soon after, Frances couldn’t take being without her partner, so she left. Daniel Baldwin and Holly Montag entered the game, Daniel on day 3, and Holly on day 10. I personally hate it when someone quits, and is replaced. I like BBUS and Survivor US, if someone quits, nobody replaces them.
Also, this show is a lot like shows I’ve watched in the past and shows I watch currently. It has reverse Big Brother’s original concept, with nominations, and a public vote, in a Survivor-style location, a harsh environment, as the competitions (or the ones I saw, at least) resemble Fear Factor, that give the celebrities Survivor’s catering of Rewards, food, and immunity.
Another thing is that it is really hard for me to commit to shows that air in frequency of more-than-one times a week. Especially when I have wipeout on Wednesdays at the same time, and the fact it’s on four days a week. That kind of makes me glad Big Brother is just for three days here, in a way. It’s an OK show, but I am waiting even more for Big Brother to Start July 9th.
