Hello u guys.
Hopefully with my crappy skills in english i can write something understanable. haha.
the finnish big brother started this year the 25 of august. that day 14 housemates enterd the new big brother house. Terttu, Lotta, Kätlin, Dana, Tuija, Minna and Jelena was the six ladies that enters the house that night. Aso, Nino, Esa A, Esa J, Sami, Ragnar and Sampo represented the men. U can find all the housemates here.
Week 1: that week the housemates had a hole lot of parties. everyone got to know each other better, both Scandinavian Hunks and Dazzling Ladies (dance groups) visited the house. along the week there turned out to be some "couples", Kätlin and Sami hang out with each other a lot and Minna and Esa J had some action under the quilt. BB viewers voted Kätlin the most interesting person that week. Big Brother suprised everyone when he told that all the housemates would be up for eleminiation, but as it then turned out, that was just a joke.
Week 2: as it turned out the housemates Nino and Lotta and Aso and Jelena didnt get together that well (ok, can u say it like that ??? ) so there was some fighting now and then.
that week the housemates had a recycling task witch lasted a hole night. when the task ended Big Brother separated the housemates in to two, "the Slum" Lotta, Nino, Sampo, Tuija, Ragnar, Esa A and Terttu and "the Paradise" Minna, Kätlin, Sami, Aso, Esa J, Jelena and Dana. That ment that the slums would have to live in crappy circumstances, no warm wather, no proper food (just like rice, fish etc.), no beds and no indoor toilet. The slums would have to earn the right to vote and every week they have to do different tasks. The paradise people would continue to live like normal.
Every thursday the housemates have a Head Of The House (im going to call it HH, its simpler) competition, the person who would win the competition would be the HH. that ment that the person would automaticly live in the paradise and no one could vote for him/her that week. Dana won the first HH competition.
This week only the paradise people voted and Aso, Terttu and Esa A was up for elemination.
On sunday 6th of September Terttu was voted out and was the firts one to leave the house.
Week 3: The slums started the week with a task, they had to spread out some sand on the task area (and its pretty big). Here u can find some pics of the task (sorry, the text is in finnish but u can look at the pics. haha). Besides from the task i mentioned the slums had to wrestle in mud, and Esa A won the challenge. After som other random tasks the Slums earned the right to vote.
That week Aso won the HH competition. Big Brother told him to choose who would have to live in the slum and who in the paradise. He failed the task so as a punishment all the paradise people and the slums changed sides.
On thursday a new housemate, Justiina, entered the house.
For that weeks elemination was Kätlin, Jelena, Tuija and Ragnar. On Sunday, Jelena left the house.
:) there u go, the 3 first weeks. if u have questions, just ask !! I'm happy to answer.

Survivor Samoa - Liz Voted Off (4-1)
The Survivors on Galu had a task: elect a new chief. All of the guys, including Erik, Dave, John, and Brett all plan on allowing Shambo become chief, before the even begin electing. So, when it comes time to elect a leader, Shambo was elected, receiving the four guys’ votes. The other women, especially Laura and Kelly were really not happy with this decision. Galu’s chief election was just like U.S. politics, you satisfy 60%, and disappoint 40%. Then, on Foa-Foa, Mick, Jaison, Russell, Natalie, and Liz were all pretty much fed up with their constant losing of the challenges, and wanted no more than to just win.
At the reward challenge, it was a matching and memory game: They could either take the necessary item and forfeit their point, or just take the point, and forfeit the item(s). During the challenge, Galu was in compete dominance once again, as they took seven points, one special item, and won reward. Their reward was a meal on a sailboat. Shambo, as leader, sent Laura to the Foa-Foa camp. Laura claimed it was just a personal attack.
At Foa-Foa, Russell and Laura are talking about church, ministry, and stuff like that at first. Russell tells her that his father was a preacher. I really hope that is true, because lying about being religious is just plain too far, too much. Then, Laura is told by Russell about a secret alliance he wants to make with her. Laura automatically agreed with. Then, Russell tells us his currently plan: Take Laura and Natalie to the final two, whom he thinks are the “dumb girls”. Let’s just reminisce this, that plan didn’t work for Rob, I doubt it’d work for Russell.
In the immunity challenge, I’ll just say it was a bit more creative, in a way. Instead of swimming to get puzzle pieces, they used hooks to fish them out. During this challenge, Foa-Foa had a lead, then Galu took it over, as Jaison was nearly giving up in the challenge, and Galu won immunity again, proving to Mick that some necklace isn’t bad luck. Jaison really was clearly not in this, and maybe Foa-Foa could’ve won if Jaison was in this. Simply, if you can go to college, you can do a puzzle.
Back at Foa-Foa, Russell, Mick, and Natalie seemed to have a strong upper hand, and it was either going to be Liz, the bottom, untrustworthy person, or Jaison, the guy who gave up in the challenge. At Tribal Council, they all once again mentioned a few words abut being so very tight. It was Liz with four votes who got voted off. Next week, the survivors will merge, but I still expect some kind of twist. This would be Survivor’s first ever merge with more than ten players.
I really like Russell attempting to work on the other tribe. He’s really going to have to work on getting the Galuanese tribe members to turn on each other. I am about 50-50 on the chance of Shambo jumping sides to make alliances with the Foa-Foanese survivors, whom she has said was her friends. If she does this, she’d probably want something dumb like taking Laura out to happen. However, why go with just Shambo, when Russell and Foa-Foa can easily convince Laura to jump sides, and that would allow Kelly and Monica to jump sides with her. That’s about certain to happen, if you ask me.
I am actually looking forward to and would be satisfied with a Russell/Laura/Natalie final three, simply because is Russell is doing all the backstabbing, it could give Laura a few “friend’s votes, but considering she turns on her tribe, I’d expect the Galuanese guys and/or Shambo to perhaps vote for Natalie to win. That’s just if Russell got his way, I think Laura would try to bring her, Monica, and Kelly along as far as possible, as it seems.
A few words about the Survivors:
Shambo: Umm, please vote her out, Galu!?!?!?
Erik: I don’t know if it’s just me, or did he not want to be the leader, as hopes of not being a threat?
Brett: Well, at least he can lead a tribe to victory, so he can’t be as dumb as the edit makes him look
John/Kelly/Monica: Absolutely no opinion, whatsoever, as of now with these guys
Dave: Not much to say about him, either, he seems as he’s just trying to be second in command of the Galu Guys alliance.
Mick: As good of a leader as he is being Russell’s sidekick, I think I’m just a bit disappointed with him now.
Jaison: A major disappointment, he supposed to be smart, but he gave up in a challenge and I’m glad he’s not in control, because he’d probably play personal, if he was in any powerful position.
Natalie: Like Brett, She’s probably got more sense than what the edit- and what Russell says.
Russell: Good thinking wanting the “dumbest” final three partners. . . . .NOT! It’s going to get us a so-called “dumb winner”. People are bitter, you don’t just take someone to the final two because they maybe perhaps look dumb, you have to take the one nobody would like to the end. That’s how people like Dreamz and Sugar get to the end.
Laura, I just see her as just another person nobody would vote for in the final three, is she were to turn on her tribe mates, which I see that happening because she wants Shambo out fast, therefore, at least she’s just another favourite I rooted for to go to the final three (she’d be, like, the eleventh favourite I’d see in the final three).

TARUS15 - Meghan/Cheyne first & Mika/Canaan eliminated
Tasks: While still in Dubai, In the roadblock the teams had one member row a tiny inflatable boat to a yacht where they’ll be given a watch with a combo to open a briefcase they were to choose at the start of the leg on the pit stop. Then, the teams competed in their next detour: put together hookahs or equal out some gold. Then, the racers had to go to Atlantis Aquaventure Park, where they had to have both team members slide down a tunnel beneath a shark lagoon.
Meghan/Cheyne - They, once again, got first place, which shouldn’t be a hard thing to do since you took a fast forward and didn’t get bunched up because you didn’t leave Dubai. They really seemed to have some freak out moments, and talk about how stressful it was at the detour. I guess it’d be even more stressful if you weren’t in the lead, and in last. They still continue to race very good, and raced a solid race, just without the freak outs.
Maria/Tiffany - Basically, they chose the gold detour, but not because it was the right detour for them, it was all because they happened to be doing the detour with Sam/Dan, their “allies”. They were racing in the near middle of the pack, that is until a calculator saved them in the detour. They got to the water park before Sam/Dan, and that got them to team number two. At least they can get to the front of the pack now, let’s just see them do that without Sam/Dan helping them a little bit.
Sam/Dan - They were pretty much the same case as Maria/Tiffany, they were in the middle of the pack, and jumped right up since they had a calculator with them for the detour. I never would’ve honestly guessed that someone would actually have a calculator with them on The Amazing Race. They had no problem with the race either; it just was never bunched up at all.
Brian/Ericka - They had the right idea, choosing the right detour, the gold detour, but they didn’t have a calculator with them, and since the gold changed every minute, Brian couldn’t figure out the math within one minute, and he and Ericka ended up switching detours. After some frustration with the hookahs, they ended up figuring out what they weren’t doing right, and moved along to the water park. They came to the pit stop in team number four.
Gary/Matt - They too ran a solid race, with few mistakes, and since they were up against teams with a head start or advantage, they easily got fifth place. I’m actually glad they can get along, despite not being a huge part of teach other’s lives, and Matt being so different. I still wish them the best of luck in the race, as long as they continue to race well.
Flight Time/Big Easy - They were the team that just kept falling behind and two “strategies” saved them: But first, they couldn’t figure out the combo, despite it was clearly straight up given to them on a watch. I guess they can’t tell time, and I’m not sure if they really “did well for the hood”. What saved them was the option to change detours and quickly solve the math, and then got an extremely lucky break when Mika couldn’t go down the water slide. They got to be a very lucky team number six.
Mika/Canaan - They were once again, second-to-last the entire leg of the race. They had the Globetrotters, who were really far behind them. What really screwed them-or Canaan- over was Mika’s fear to slide down the water slide, as she was either afraid of heights or afraid of water, but clearly not afraid of losing the race. Canaan got really frustrated with her, and he may perhaps have not done what Jesus would’ve done, he decided to attempt to push her down the slide. The Globetrotters arrive, and convince Mika not to slide down the tube. Mika/Canaan were last, and eliminated.
This race is actually pretty good, all of those six teams have a potential to win. I’m not too sure about Maria/Tiffany, they really seemed hopeless, or just plain luckless until this leg, in which if there was some bunch up, they could’ve actually received first. Dubai was amazing, it made me want to go there.

Greetings from Finland
Hello everyone.
Finland's 5th Big Brother season is on. Day 67 to be exact.
The most exiting thing that is happening in the house is that Kätlin has left the house and no one knows where she is. Currently the housemates are guessing Brazil, Spain, Island and China, but we know for sure that she is on her way to the Philippines. I don't know when she are entering the Philippines Big Brother House, but its going to be soon. More on the later.
The eliminations are on and on Sunday one housemate is leaving the House. Up for this weeks eliminations is four people, Antti, Iida, Stephania and Toni.
At the moment, we don't know who's leaving but today, on Big Brother extra they are going to show us the one currently leaving.
So, there u got something. I'm going to write more later of course and tell u guys more on what's happening in the Finnish Big Brother.

Survivor Samoa - Russell S. evacuated
The Samoan nature continues to rain, and everyone is tired of their 80 hours of rain. Russell S. is seen working, while the other Galu tribe members were huddles together, shivering. At Foa-Foa, it was the same case, almost, as Russell H. was working, while not even minding the horrible rain, and the others remain huddled together, freezing. Finally, the rain stopped, and the Galu tribe members are amazed they wake up to see a rainbow. Spirits could be up, and they were given their next challenge.
During the challenge, the Survivors had to strap someone is a ball, and have two people blindfolded carry the ball person to a table maze, with the ball person guiding the blindfolded them through everything , even the table maze. This is where Foa-Foa was to take the lead, and this is where Russell S. passed out, due to dehydration. Jeff Probst stopped the challenge to have the medical team check Russell S. out. Russell S was in a bad condition, and Jeff Probst says to the other survivors the challenge is cancelled, which this is the first time a challenge is discontinued inn the middle of it. Nobody won reward, and everyone else had to go back to camp. As planned, however, both tribes were to report to tribal council where two people, one from each tribe, were to be voted off.
Russell S., most likely unaware of what just happened and wanting to say, even though in slurring, he’s still able to stay in the game. Jeff Probst tells him he blacked out twice and was in no condition to be on Survivor. Jeff Probst commented it’s the scariest thing he’s ever seen in Survivor. Russell S. was removed from the game, and crying, Russell S. was very disappointed. Back at Foa-Foa, the survivors prepare to boot one of their own. Liz and Natalie are almost sure they have no chance of splitting up the guys and voting one of them off, so they agree to vote for each other. Russell H., however, is there telling Natalie that Liz is to be voted off.
Back at Galu, the guys Erik, Dave, John, and Brett all band together and agree to vote for Monica, and they agreed to tell Shambo their plan, but not include Shambo in their alliance. Meanwhile, Monica tells Laura she wants to se Shambo, especially since Shambo got her last time. Then, the survivors reported to tribal council together (OK, you know something’s up) and Jeff talks to both tribal in the same old tribal council talk-show type routine seen every tribal council. Jeff Probst then is to tell the survivors the double boot has been canceled. The pizza was rewarded to them, but I know this through source, they really didn’t air that part.
Yes, it was sad to see Russell, a tribe leader with no signs of losing and almost had final five written all over him, leave the game like this, but you’re not really suffering if you take care of yourself, have the right amount of water, food, etc. He should’ve taken better care of himself, Survivor may not be Paradise Hotel, but it’s not a impossibly too rigorous and dangerous either. I think the idea of not going on with the double boot pretty much confirms that there will be a later double boot and five people will make it to finale night.
I’m almost frustrated seeing Liz and Natalie “accept” the fact they “must” or whatever vote for themselves when this is Survivor, you “have” the right to do things to avoid getting your torch snuffed. The way things are going, I don’t see Liz trying to keep herself around, because we didn’t see it this time. Also, I’m not liking the all-guys alliance, and adding Shambo in it while not being certain yourself is not too bright of a move either. I think John and Bret are not really caring about this all guy alliance, they really didn’t seem like they cared or wanted to really be with that plan. Erik is pretty much arrogant, and really cocky towards the other team, so I see him being not much but Foa-Foa’s top contender on their hit-list, if Foa-Foa remains as strong as they say they are and win these next few challenges.
Most of them are real hard to like, whether their invisible, or just not likable.

Expeditie Robinson 2009 Netherlands/Belgium: Episode 8
Blog Post by Arthur
Episode 8
The show starts where it ended last week: team Noord and team Zuid come together for what they think is the merge. However, only ten of them will make it to the merge and three will be eliminated. Who this will be is decided by a fire-making challenge. The only person who won't take part is Marina: she is already a finalist and cannot take part in any of the challenges. She is sent to the beach where she can prepare a feast for the ten winners. The other twelve start the challenge. The challenge is to make a fire tall enough to burn through a rope. Once the rope is burned, the candidates have to grab their bag and run through a jungle. The first eight people to put their bag in the chest the men carried through the jungle a few episodes ago will go to the merge.
The first person to make fire is Marjolein, followed by Jeroen and Jill. Of the three, Marjolein is the only one to make her fire tall enough to burn through the rope. She grabs her bag and runs. The fires of Jeroen and Jill stop burning, whil Kurt, Marcel and Igor all make fire and burn through the rope. They also grab their bags and run to the jungle, where Marjolein is the first one to put her bag in the chest. She can continue walking to the beach, where Marina has started a barbecue. She is followed by the three men, Kurt, Marcel and Igor. Later, Dennis, Rita and Simone also arrive at the beach. Seven people have finished the challenge, only one more will qualify. Jeroen is the first one to make fire and runs to the jungle, but is closely followed by Yolanda. Jeroen wins the sprint and is the eigth one to place his bag in the chest.
The four losers are Yolanda, Jill, Eva and Esmeralda. The four will battle in a final challenge to determine who gets the last place in the merge. For the challenge, they have to build a tower of blocks. The one who builds the tallest tower in two minutes wins. Yolanda takes an early lead and is followed by Eva. Both towers collapse after one minute. Esmeralda is then in the lead and because her tower does not collapse, she wins the challenge and is the last person to qualify for the merge. The three losers are Yolanda, Jill and Eva, who have to leave the show.
The ten people who made it to the merge, Dennis, Esmeralda, Igor, Jeroen, Kurt, Marcel, Marina, Marjolein, Rita and Simone, take part in a huge feast. During the feast, Marcel drinks too much and is awake the whole night, talking gibberish. The following day, the other candidates start working while Marcel is still sleeping. He has an headache and wants to take a 'day off' to recover. While working, Igor takes off with a coconut again. Dennis sees him drinking the coconut and later accuses him of stealing. The whole team gets involved in the argument, which ends with Kurt making fun of Igor, which upsets Igor who calls him a stupid clown.
The immunity challenge is one where they have to eat horrible food. The candidates battle in three heats and the three winners of the heats qualify for the final. The first heat is between Dennis, Esmeralda and Igor. Igor wins this easily and beats the two people who he continuously argues with. The second heat is between Jeroen, Marcel and Marjolein and is - to the surprise of many - won by Marjolein. The third heat is between Simone, Kurt and Rita and is won by Simone. The three winners battle eachother in the final. This turns into a big battle between Simone and Igor, one that is won by Igor. He wins immunity and cannot be voted out. The other candidates are not happy with this, they all wanted to vote him out.
Back at the camp, people talk a lot about who they want to voted out. The two names that are mentioned the most are Marjolein, who works the least, and Simone, who curses too much. When the ten candidates arrive at the tribal council, there is a twist however. Rather than casting one vote, the candidates will cast two votes and the two people who receive the most votes will battle eachother in a challenge. The winner will remain in the game, while the loser has to go. The candidates cast their votes and when these are counted, it's Simone who has the most votes. To the surprise of many viewers, Jeroen has the second most votes. He got these votes because he was the closest friend of Simone. This means that Simone and Jeroen will battle eachother in a challenge. The loser goes home. Who wins will be shown in the next episode.

TARUS15 - Meghan/Cheyne take FF & Lance/Keri eliminated.
Teams had to scale the tallest building in the world in Dubai, UAE. In this leg, teams had to go very hot, and have one person do the roadblock by searching for water in a desert and in the detour things got cold as they went to an indoor ski resort to literally either find a tiny snowman in a large snow pile or build a snowman. Madinat Jumeriah was the pit stop.
1st: Meghan/Cheyne - Meghan/Cheyne took the fast forward which was to have someone drive an extremely fast car one leg under 45 seconds to win it. Cheyne drove the car in about 40 seconds, and him and Meghan won the Fast Forward, taking first place. I’m not exactly sure what to say about their performance, considering they were the only team vying for the FF, and had it pretty easy. I think they could’ve done without it, but considering this race has only one Fast forward, why not go for it.
2nd: Brian/Ericka - Brian/Ericka remained at the top of the pack, and I believe Brian finished the roadblock first, gaining second, and easily found their tiny snowman in the snow bank. They seemed to have had a lot of fun this leg, they’re enjoying the race, and are getting along easily. They are still my favourites and I still believe we’ll see them in the final three. Maybe after the show, they’ll get to host some interracial dating show.
3rd: Flight Time/Big Easy - They are still very good competitors, but seriously, how can they not be? They’re the most athletic team of all of them, and I am just sure they’ll need to get to the first U-Turn first, otherwise they’ll actually have to fight to stay in the race. Like I fast forward, I only expect to see one U-Turn, considering it’s what, leg five.
4th: Gary/Matt - They were running the race in the sort-of middle of the pack. Their golden element was to be the ones who built a snowman, rather than spending a whole lot of time on the find a snowman detour. They are still good racers, better than Mika/Canaan or Maria/Tiffany and could get to the final three at this rate.
5th: Sam/Dan - I don’t remember them much, and as of now, we’ve lost their connection to Maria/Tiffany we had in the first two legs. They are mainly concentrating on trying not to fight, and one of them, Is it Dan? Is seen whining and the other one is telling him to shut up a lot.
6th: Maria/Tiffany - I don’t think they are very good, as they’ve never received higher than fourth place, same for Mika/Canaan. They’re fighting to see if they can get to leg eight, if there’s another NEL, which I don’t expect one until final five.
7th: Mika/Canaan - Ugh, the disappointing team where a guy, who could race well if he raced with someone else, has an extremely ditzy partner. They’ll be very lucky to ever see final five, or like Maria/Tiffany, top five. I’d really like them, but whatever, they‘ve got no final three potential whatsoever.
8th: Lance/Keri - They were eliminated because they sucked at driving themselves from one place to another. They could’ve improved on communication skills, but I really don’t know. They’re off to elimination station.

Survivor Samoa - Ashley Voted off (5-1)
This episode gave us something we rarely see, which is the survivors talking a whole lot about the environment they live in. The rain probably became the serious plot of the show, in which It was mentioned more than Russell. The Survivors deal with two days of rain, straight. Also, the episode started with Shambo the only one who voted for Monica, and possibly-most likely isolated herself further from the tribe.
In the Reward challenge, the Survivors had to play a roulette game where two sea worthy delicacies were combined in a smoothie. The challenge remained neck and neck, with four points to each team, in which they needed to score five points first in order to win. It was Ashley who couldn’t down her smoothie, and she lost the game for her tribe, Foa-Foa. Galu won, earning barbecue food. Russell S. sent Shambo to Foa-Foa, in which Shambo didn’t like, since she’d be missing out on another reward. Russell S clearly states in his confessional-and to the other tribe mates-” somebody had to pay for that chicken that was lost”.
Back at camp, Russell S. had a problem getting fire going in which Dave got irritated with. Dave ends up starting a fire, and seems to have mixed feelings about being the only guy who can start a fire. I’m sure it can’t be hard to rub metal against a stick, or whatever. I think it takes patience and performance to build a fire, not luck or 100% skill. The rain continued to pour down, and the survivors talk about how horrible it is in Samoa. They’re cold, shivery, and just miserable. At Foa-Foa, Shambo shares the HII clues with Foa-Foa, and spends so much time digging in the tree, not finding anything. Liz suspects that Russell H. has the idol, and Russell near-threatens Liz, saying “You’re walking on Thin Ice”.
At the Immunity challenge, the survivors had to have two people pull weight of a net and have four people shoot coconuts in the net. The Survivors who were the weight were Laura and Russell S. (Galu) & Liz and Russell H. (Foa-Foa). During this challenge, Ashley once again performed below the standards of the other competitors, and it was Russell H. and Liz who fell short, and Galu won immunity again. At Foa-Foa on Day 14, the Survivors remained in the shelter, freezing, and not scrambling to see who’s the next target. Judging from people’s out-loud thoughts, it was Ashley who seemed to be the weakest, and Liz who seemed to be the most untrustworthy that people were talking about. At Tribal Council, Liz received one vote, and Ashley received five votes, and she was voted off.
I’m going to officially say this: I don’t think Russell H. is playing the game hardcore and supernaturally epic like he thinks he is. If someone goes against you, just like how Marisa and Betsy did with Russell H., and are a strategic threat, it’s freaking common sense to get them voted off. Marisa was probably the move he did best and the move he could call his own. Betsy was easily voted off because she didn’t vote with the tribe. Had Betsy voted with the tribe, she could’ve been there on Day 14. It wasn’t him who gets Credit for Ben’s boot, and I think if he was capable of strategizing more this episode, he would’ve gone after Liz over Ashley, because if Russell so says he isn’t caring that’s in raining a whole lot, he would’ve figured out a way to get Liz out. Russell is getting the “cocky, arrogant, ego-tripping” edit, not the “strategic, mastermind, supernatural” edit people thinks he’s getting.
Anyone can say “I’m going to be Survivor’s biggest villain, look at me, I got so-and-so out, I’m so going down as the best villain in the history of Survivor-and the history of Reality TV-and the history of the world of Reality TV”. The only thing that’s got him to the point we are at now is that he’s just showing a split personality: He’s Russell H, a guy who “survived Hurricane Katrina”, and is “voting with the tribe”, and in front of the cameras, he’s an arrogant, big ego’d, personality who’s delusional and thinks he’s the best player ever. That’s what he’s good at so far.
Opinionated Words of each Survivor left in the episode:
Laura (Could be the strongest female in the game both physically and probably sociably.)
Mick (I like him, he’s the best male competitor, but I don’t want to see him listen to Russell all the time)
Russell H. (see, above)
Natalie (Sweet, girl next door, who would have to rely on the most bitter jury ever in order to win.)
Jaison (He won’t wow me, he’ll be just be easily played by Russell and be blindsided.)
Russell S. (Okay, I guess, and I’ll say his decision to send Shambo to Foa-Foa was okay, I guess)
Dave (An obvious MVP player, at least when it comes to Surviving Samoa.)
Brett (Still way too invisible for an official, educated opinion.)
Monica (Well, certainly after Shambo, and I think she might be playing the social card that’s going to keep her here)
Kelly (Like Brett, really invisible, and I don’t know where she exactly stands)
Erik (I see him as a blindside victim, but I really don’t know.
John (Surprisingly, I don’t remember him much, what is he doing?)
Liz (I like her, and want to see her succeed in a case of her verses Russell and the idol)
Shambo (Ugh, she’s too strategically and socially hopeless. She’ll be cut before she gets to do anything.)
Ashley (She blew it. Being horrible in challenges is almost the easiest way to be ditched.)
LLNMD List:
Love: Laura, Mick
Like: Monica, Brett, Kelly, Natalie, Liz,
Neutral: Jaison, John, Russell S., Ashley, Dave, Erik,
Meh:
Dislike: Shambo, Russell H.
NOTE: Is it just me, or does Laura, Brett, Monica, and Kelly always hang out with each other? Could this be a potential alliance? I mean, it’s clearly something can go on, just by knowing this when Shambo talks about “The 90210 Clique”. I am probably alone on this, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Laura wrangled up Brett, Kelly, and Monica and they walked all over the merge tribe. Just something to think about. If either John, Dave, or Erik on their side, and I would most likely see John doing this, this could be the potential game here. And, this about this: Why else would Laura, Brett, and Kelly want to keep Monica last week, and not Yasmin? I think it was literally these guys who got Yasmin out, since Erik and Dave wanted Shambo out more, and Russell S. wanted Monica out next.

Expeditie Robinson 2009 Netherlands/Belgium: Episode 7
Blog Post by Arthur
Episode 7
In team South, there are three women with mental and physical problems. Eva and Sabine are very homesick and doubt whether they can continue. Rita has physical problems: she hasn't been to the toilet in eleven days and feels like she is about to explode. Nevertheless, she wants to continue and tries to work with the other candidates. Jill also shows her face for the second time in seven episodes, when Kurt compliments her for the work she has been doing.
In team North, the atmosphere is still horrible. Because Igor spends a lot of time on his own, Marjolein tries to talk to him. During this talk, Igor explains that he decided to take part in the show to see whether he can act in a group. As a kid, he was picked on because he was very small, and when he became older, he grew a lot and became a bully himself. He was never part of any group during his youth nor during his adult years.
For the immunity challenge, one person of every tribe has to stand in a small chest, while the other candidates transfer icecubes over the beach and have to throw them in the chest as well. When the person in the chest is completely covered with icecubes, the team wins. In team North it's Igor who goes in the chest and in team South, it's Rita. Both to prove that they can be of use for their team during a challenge. At the beginning of the challenge, it's a close race but eventually team North takes the lead and keeps it. They win immunity and team South has to vote someone out.
Team North celebrates their victory with a feast. During the feast Igor seems to be accepted as part of the team. He tries to act a bit more social, which seems to pay off. Except for Marcel, who says that he doesn't think Igor is worthy of still being in the show. According to him, the most worthy people are Esmeralda, Marina, Dennis and Marjolein, while Igor and Yolanda can leave the tribe.
In team South, Rita has a horrible night because of her gut-problems. The following morning she feels awful, until Jeroen offers her a cup of tea. Because of the tea (I have no idea how to describe this tastefully), she can finally take a poo again and does so immediately: in middle of the camp. She couldn't stop it and shat over all the camp. Even though she made a lot of mess, she feels a lot better after this and thinks she is strong enough to continue with the show. Eva and Sabine don't think they are, both spend their time sleeping on the beach because they want to go home. Sabine is still very annoyed by this and tells the women that she would rather vote both of them out.
At a quick tribal council, it is Sabine who receives all the votes (while she votes for Rita) and has to leave, much to her delight.
The following morning, both teams receive a letter telling them to pack all their stuff. Both tribes realize that the merge is coming. In team North everybody is happy with this news, except for Marcel, who didn't want Igor to make the merge. Team South is very happy to leave the island, there was no food left in their camp and most of them haven't eaten in a very long time.
Both teams arrive at the new island and are greeted by the hosts. They say that there is a twist, even though this is the island where the merge will take place, not all candidates will make it to the merge. There is a challenge first and the three people who finish last in this challenge will have to leave. Marina is the only one who doesn't have to take part, as she won the very first challenge and is qualified for the final already. She can move on to the beach and start a barbecue, while the other twelve candidates battle for the remaining nine spots in the merge.
Who makes it, will be shown in the next episode.

Expeditie Robinson 2009 Netherlands/Belgium: Episode 6
Blog Post by Arthur
Episode 6
Both teams got the assignment to choose their three strongest candidates. In team South, Rita says everybody needs to name the three people they think are the strongest. Jeroen, Kurt and Simone are mentioned the most often.
In team North, Esmeralda and Igor both say they are the strongest. The majority agrees with Esmeralda, but disagrees with Igor and Marcel and Dennis are chosen in his place.
For the immunity challenge, both teams have to throw eggs up a ladder. The person on top of the ladder has to take the egg and go down a slide with the egg, in order to place it in an egg holder. The team who transfers ten eggs without breaking one wins the immunity. Team North takes an early lead, but it is team South who closes the gap quickly and eventually wins. As special price, the three people who were selected to be the strongest can go to a resort, where they can wash themselves and send an e-mail home. Eva and Rita are upset that only the strongest people can go because they are in big need of some contact with home.
Team North has to vote. Igor, who is the outsider of the group, shows his strength by collecting a lot of food. Marcel is not happy with the job Igor is doing, because he thinks Igor is wasting strength and he doesn't like the food Igor brings with him.
When the three strongest people of South arrive back at camp, they are welcomed with open arms. This doesn't last long, when Eva gets emotional again. This annoys Simone, who says that someone who gets this emotional should not take part in this show. Sabine disagrees and the two women have an argument. This ends when Kurt catches a stingray and the team has enough to eat for another day.
In team North, Igor gets in more trouble when Yolanda accuses him of drinking too much juice from the coconuts. The team goes to tribal council, where Igor doesn't get any votes. Esther is voted out unanimously because she asked, she wanted to leave for quite a few days now. After the tribal council, Esmeralda, Marcel and Dennis from team North want to make an expedition across the island, but return in an hour. It turns out that they found a lot of empty coco-nutshells. They think that Igor, who goes away to the jungle every day, has eaten a lot of coconuts when he was in the jungle rather than sharing this with the team. When they arrive back at camp, it turns out Igor has also eaten all the coconut the team was cooking. This leads to an explosive fight between Igor and Dennis & Esmeralda, where Igor accuses Dennis of talking behind his back rather than to his face and Igor gets angry at Esmeralda when she tells him that he should not curse. Marina and Yolanda have to butt in and end the fight before it gets out of hand. After the fight, Dennis and Marcel agree that Igor finally showed his true colours and they cannot wait to vote him out.
My personal opinion on the fight is that everybody was in the wrong: Dennis for being a drama queen and talking behind Igor's back so Igor never had a chance to say what he thought, Esmeralda, for not explaining why Igor was accused of stealing wood, and Igor, for his explosive replies. All in all, it didn't do good for Igor's position in the game.

TARUS15 - Sam/Dan first & Zev/Justin Eliminated
Leg Four tasks: Teams had to make their way to the Foreign Correspondent’s Club where they must ask for their next assignment. Then, teams where given a picture of Jackie Kennedy and had to find the Kennedy suite. In the detour, teams had to either cover or wrap, by selling motorcycle helmets or finding a matching colored scarf. In the roadblock, teams had to act like monkeys and perform stunts humans do as monkeys. The pit stop was Wat Phnom.
1ST - Sam/Dan - They managed to stay in the front of the pack throughout most the race, and I believe they were only behind Zev/Justin. They were the second team to arrive to the pit stop, behind Zev/Justin, and were very close to Herb/Nate, but Zev/Justin revealed they lost a passport, and had to leave the pit stop to find it.
2ND - Flight/Time/Big Easy - Again, they ran another solid race, and easily caught up to Sam/Dan. I really feel they are decent racers indeed, and will make this race really competitive.
3RD - Brian/Ericka - This team really knows how to climb to a top position, and I really think they have potential to race, despite their first episode performance. I’m waiting for them to get first place, and make an easy run to the finish line.
4TH - Gary/Matt - They are still good racers, and I’m glad they are not a bickering team, and really get along despite being completely different. Lance/Keri can really learn from them.
5TH - Meghan/Cheyne - They kind of remind me of TAR6 Kris/Jon, but way more likable, but on a more competitive race. I see they are getting along and that’s a plus, and they are good racers, so far.
6TH - Lance/Keri - They are always almost in the bottom of the pack, along with Mika/Canaan. This is our conflicting arguing team of the season that hardly anyone likes. I am actually meh on them because they aren’t good at good grip on the race and they are always fighting.
7TH - Mika/Canaan - You can only fall in the back of the pack so many times before you’re hopeless. I really wish this team was a lot better. They are almost like the older teams or perhaps, Dani/Danielle or Marisa/Brooke.
8TH - Maria/Tiffany - This was the second time arriving last to the pit stop and got spared, after getting spared on a NEL and then on a team penalized. I don’t expect much from them, which is a disappointment.
9TH - Zev/Justin - They arrived in first, and pretty much had first the entire leg, however, Zev lost his passport. They couldn’t find it at all (it was reported that the passport was left on the monkey roadblock) and were eliminated from the race.
This was a disappointing leg simply because all it was we saw was scarf matching, helmet selling, hat searching, suite searching, and a monkey task a kid could do. This was way under what I’d expect from so much competitive teams casted. I’m starting to think this race will be very predictable, and I’d be shocked if this race didn’t end up with the Globetrotters, Team Zebra, Dan/Sam, and Meghan/Cheyne as the final four teams, I which I’d know to expect a u-turn to change that, but whatever.

Survivor: Samoa - Yasmin voted off (8-2)
This episode started with Russell H. upset with Jaison, who got his way over getting Ben out. Natalie feels secure with her alliance wth Russell H. and is sure she thinks she has a chance to beat him. That might happen, if the jury is extremely bitter. Russell says Natalie may be one of the best allies for him. I think it could be the best thing for Russell, too, because Natalie is just so far under the radar. At Galu, Shambo shares the HII clues with Erik and Joh. Erik is now HII Hungry.
Next there was a reward challenge with a twist: Jeff Probst wasn't there waiting to narrate the observations of the challenge. The Survivors, Russell H, Mick, and Natalie, or I think it was Natalie, from Foa Foa and Russell H., Shambo, and Dave from Galu compete in a bocce type game. The Galu tribe won, earning chickens.
Back at the Galu tribe, Erik has everyone working, or napping, as he goes and seatrches for the second idol he finds. Therefore, Russell H. & Erik are HII holders. Then, Shambo decides to make friends with the chickens. At Foa Foa, Jaison continues saying it's cold, and he's been so cold, and claims Survivor may be the biggest regret ever. Back at Galu, Shambo lets the chicken out, and some of the survivors end up chasing it. The Survivors are also tired of Shambo, and are considering voting her out more and more.
In the immunity challenge, the tribes had to carry blocks and stack blocks, then get across a narrow rope bridge and stack more blocks. The first tribe to finish would win. Galu kept a lead throughout most of the challenge, until Foa Foa made a comeback, tying it up. It was Foa Foa who turned their luck around and won, earning immunity for the first time.
At Galu, there were two people the tribe mates were putting on the bubble. Yasmin for her poor work ethics around camp, and Monica for her poor performance during the immunity challenge. Russell S. wanted to make sure Monica was voted off, but a group of the Galu tribe mates were talking about voting Yasmin out. At Triblal Council, the tribe mates favored the work ethics that Yasmin didn't have, and she want voted off.
Here is a few words about the Survivors remaning:
Ashley: Not really seen much this episode, but may still have potential
Brett: Four episodes and still no confessionals, he would be lucky to make it far.
Dave: Probably the most neutral Survivor here.
Liz: Most invisible this week, but judging on next week's previews, it isn't looking good.
Erik: Has strong potential, and could be backbone to Galu.
Jaison: Is losing it, and is easily slipping way off.
John: I think he could be a potential rival for Erik, and could do some damage.
Kelly: Well, at least we can sit in a conversation about strategy?
Laura: I probably trying to play a decent social game.
Mick: Foa Foa's only hope, give or take Russell or Ashley.
Monica: Weak, got spared, and doesn't look like things could work out.
Natalie: Like All Star Amber, Dumb, under good coat-tails (Russell H.), and may win this whole thing (if facing a bitter jury).
Russell H.: Would be okay, if I ever get past the Hurricane Katrina hoax.
Russell S.: A horrible leader, I mean, what happened to "pleasing the majority?"
Shambo: Playing a pitiful social game, but is still more valuable than Monica.
Next week boot prediction: There are many people who could be the next to go. At Foa Foa, it looks like Russell H. will have complete say again, but could go any way, and vote for either Ashley (his first plan), Jaison (becuase he irritates him), or Liz (judging by previews, unless Russell decides to convince Liz to stage something). At Galu, it could be Shambo (If Erik gets his way), Monica (if she's continuing to be weak), or Russell S. (if the tribe thinks he's a horrible leader). Since I want to pick one, I'll go with Jaison.

TARUS15 - Globetrotters first & Marcy/Ron eliminated.
I have come up with a different writing style for this episode of TAR15, and I want to know how it looks. Since this was one of those episodes that had a lot of stuff going on, such as half the teams on such and such, the other half on the other such and such, I am giving an individual summary of how the team performed on this leg. I’ll start with all the tasks, and put the team summaries and review of them in placement order.
THE TASKS OF LEG 03: The teams traveled back to Ho Chi Mihn City, where they to snatch a bullet from a dragon in a puppet theatre, where they received a stamp to a post office. In the detour, they had to either carry a cute, wooden animal across a park to get five balloons, or actually use their brains to search for letters on motorbikes and then scramble that word (SUCLAP) which is Vietnamese for independence. Then, in the roadblock, teams had to simply take some sort of electronic devise apart.
1ST - Herb/Nate - Flight/Time/Big Easy easily got the lead from the puppet theatre all the way to first place. They did well on the Child’s play detour and easily took down the roadblock. The are probably going to be the team to beat, and I truly wonder why Marcy said in Elimination station they’ll be the next team out, unless they get U-Turned, which we hope doesn’t happen.
2ND - Meghan/Cheyne - They are also running a solid race so far, they got a good taxi which put them in the front of the pack and did exceptionally well on the detour and roadblock. They could have a potential good run on this race, despite the abundance of completive nature we have this season.
3RD - Gary/Mat - They are doing well, surprisingly, and I really didn’t think that would happen for them. I guess, they have surprised me, just like I thought Mel/Mike would go early in TAR14, they could have that happen to them.
4TH - Brian/Ericka - This is our comeback team, they started the leg in last, and came to the pit stop in fourth place. Hey nicknamed themselves Team Zebra, and seemed to be a lot calmer this leg than last leg a lot. I’m still thinking I’ll be rooting for them, simply because I still love their positive message their trying to spread, and really feel they’ll have a chance in this race.
5TH - Sam/Dan - These two guys were really arguing a lot this episode, but not the most, though. I really don’t think we’ll get must positively vibes from this duo. They’ll probably get annoying, just like Lance/Keri. They are, however, decent racers so far, and could have a bit of potential to go far in the race.
6TH - Maria/Tiffany - They are also not bad racers, and could really do well on this show. They seem to have had the last two legs work out for them, and I’m ready to se if they can get to the front of the pack. We really didn’t get to see them react much with Sam/Dan, like they were last week, and it seems now that them being poker players isn’t being mentioned as a huge deal anymore.
7TH - Mika/Canaan - They are slowly getting better, but really need to step it up more than all of the other teams. I still like them as a team, but not really as much as I like Brian/Ericka. They are really looking like underdogs, but than again, some other teams were kind of in a similar situation for sure.
8TH - Zev/Justin - I’m not exactly sure how they got so far in the back of the pack, but I thought they’d be doing better than what they are now. Oh ell, and I don’t really remember much about them either. That’s too bad, because I really liked them the first leg.
9TH - Lance/Keri - I don’t see this team doing us much of a favor, as a mater of fact, I think they are this year’s fighting team. They really didn’t seem to have much luck this time, and I believe they would’ve been eliminated if Marcy/Ron chose the faster detour.
10th - Marcy/Ron were probably eliminated because they chose the opposing detour, in which all the other nine teams did child’s play, where they did Word Play. They were also the least edited team, which kind of had me feeling they weren’t going to last long after all.
Here is my LLNMD List & 1-5 Power Rankings
LLNMD List:
Love: Brian/Ericka

Survivor: Samoa - Ben Voted off (6-1)
In this episode of Survivor, Russell H. gloats about being in control, still, and says soon he’ll have everyone here acting like zombies. Russell H. is seen asking Natalie who she thinks should be voted off. Natalie says “Uhhhh, Ummmm”. Then, Jaison claims he wants Ben out for his comment he made towards Yasmin, as Jaison is still offended. Ben says he’s the only one doing work around camp, and that all of the survivors, who struggle to make a fire, would die out there if he was to be voted off. Then, Russell H. stirs the pot up again and tells Ben is was Ashley who tried to get him out. We know it was all Betsy’s idea, as that’s why she didn’t take control, and Ben believed Russell, and tells Ashley off, but Ashley backs out o that fight. Good girl, Ashley, the last thing we need other than Russell is Ben attempting to say something else ignorant.
At the Galu tribe, Shambo is appalled over seeing Laura leading three other tribe mates in a yoga class. There’s nothing wrong with yoga, I mean, It must work, simply because Galu keeps winning. In the third immunity challenge, the Survivors had to run into the water and retrieved colored boxes and arrange them so that the colors don’t repeat. The first tribe to finish wins immunity & reward, which Jeff revealed to be comfort items. The Galu tribe won, again, and Russell S. chose to keep he comfort items over the other items, as he claims he’s trying to make the women happy. That’s nice, I mean, if it were Ben there, he’d probably say “I’m uh make deeze gals, uhh, suffer her,, and uhhh, take the stuff.”. Shambo was selected to spend time on Foa-Foa’s camp.
At Galu, the women were indeed happy with the comfort, but one of the guys said he wasn’t so happy. Meanwhile, Shambo tells Foa-Foa that she hates her tribe, and that they were doing yoga, and that they don’t work, etc. The Foa-Foa tribe loves Shambo, however, and says she’s very positive round camp, and all. Then, it was more game time for Foa-Foa. Jaison claims he refuses to play the game with Ben around, and would likely quit if Ben wasn’t voted off, saying no million dollars is worth to see Ben around. Russell H. objected, saying he still wants Ashley out, telling the guys that Liz, Ashley and Natalie could very well collide together if Ashley got to stay.
At Tribal Council, Jaison confronts Ben about his remark towards Yasmin, saying it was a racist remark, and saying stuff about history, yeah, all that jazz. Ben says his remark wasn’t racist and tells Jaison that he’s not a slave and such. So, at the vote, it looked like it was between Ashley and Ben. It was Ben who got all the tribe’s votes, and he was voted off. I personally can’t be more happier to see Ben go, simply because he’s got to be one of the most ignorant Survivor’s to date. Jaison, however, doesn’t look like he’ll stand a chance, judging by the previews. Usually, when we see a tribe down four freaking members, they usually spend ten minutes of the show whining about how much they are a horrible tribe at challenges. However, this year, I don’t think we’ve seen Foa-Foa too worried about losing, which is a mystery to me.
I would like to see Foa-Foa win, so Shambo can either be voted off or flip her status around and work on building trusts with her tribe mates. I think Kelly or Bret would be the first to go, most likely Kelly from Galu, simply because she hasn’t been seen and it’s been three episodes. I’d be happy too if Foa-Foa continued losing, because I truly want Russell H to merge with less numbers, just to see him attempt to get Galu members on his side. Which, Shambo would be on board, but no truly anyone else, so far. I really hope Ashley gets to stick around, she’s been a target twice and managed to escaper from being voted off. She is probably the woman who’s doing the best strategically, given I don’t see any potential game play from Monica or Kelly, maybe Laura looks like she’s paying a decent social game and I don’t know where Yasmin stands as of now.
Here is two rankings of the Survivor Samoa cast: One is the LLNMD list I’ve been doing, and the other is a “Power Ranking” thread, where on a scale of 1-5, I’ll rank each Survivor’s chances of winning, based on strategic play, social play, show visibility and eventually, Jury relations of each Survivor. 5 means this Survivor has a strong chance of winning this game, and 3 means they have a fair chance of winning ,depending on where the game ends up taking off to, and one means, I don’t think they have any chance of winning the show. So, here’s LLNMD & 1-5PR.

Expeditie Robinson 2009 Netherlands/Belgium: Episode 5
Blog Post by Arthur
Episode 5
The episode started with a tribal council: the three people who thought the show is too difficult for them went to tribal council: Birgit, Carine and Esther. At tribal, the host told them that only one of the three would go home and the three had to discuss who this would be. Birgit was selected because she refused to go back to camp.
The men and Marina received a letter and were told that they had to pick two men who would go to the women’s tribe and had to pick four women who would come to their tribe. Because none of the men wanted to go to the other tribe, they drew and Kurt and Jeroen were the unlucky ones. After this, Dennis, Igor, Marcel and Marina decided to pick Esmeralda, Esther, Marjolein and Yolanda for their new tribe. They became team Noord, while the Kurt & Jeroen joined the other seven women to join team Zuid.
At the immunity challenge the two new tribes formed. But there was a twist: because one team had one extra person, that tribe had to decide who would leave the show right away. Carine volunteered and was taken out of the show. The two new tribes battled in a challenge and team Noord won. So team Zuid had to vote someone out.
The two new men, Kurt and Jeroen, worked their hardest to prove to the women that they deserved to stay in the show. Sabine got along great with the new men, but the other women had other problems. Carolien got really sick: she lost a lot of weight and was feeling really weak.
At tribal council, it was an unanimous vote. Everybody voted for Carolien, while she voted for Eva. Carolien left the island and finally got the chance to eat again.
For interest, a short description of the people who are left in the show:
Dennis = The male narrator. He was the one who narrated the walk through the jungle the men made. He is also the one who is most keen on voting Igor out, who is the outsider between the men.
Esmeralda = The leader. Everybody is extremly positive about her, she is by far the strongest women in the show and everybody has loads of respect for her. She was able to lead strong-willed people like Carine and Sabine, who were the previous leaders of the show.
Esther = The social girl. She does yoga and wants the teams to be one happy team. When the other women ignored Carine, she was the only one who talked with her and tried to make her part of the tribe again. She misses her family a lot and tried to quit a couple of times.
Eva = The silent girl. During the first night she got in an argument with Carine because she had said that she didn’t think Carine was a positive person. After this argument, Carine voted her as the weakest person and she was almost eliminated in the first challenge. After that, she never received much attention again.
Igor = The loner. He spends a lot of time on his own, walking though the jungle and looking for food. He doesn’t seem to have a good relationship with the other men, who talked about voting him off if they had to.
Jeroen = The survivor. Of the men, he seems to be the strongest and know the most about how to survive. He is now the big favorite to win, although we don’t know if he is able to play a strategic game.
Jill = The sky one. Another ignored person, who was only shown during the third immunity challenge, where she was in an important position and failed, which made her team loose the challenge.
Kurt = The forgotten. I don’t remember anything he did except for working really hard to be accepted by the women.
Marcel = The dirty old man. He was not happy when he found out he would start the show with only men because he really wanted to meet some women. Especially the young women. He was disappointed when Marina arrived at their beach because he was hoping for a younger person (even though Marina is seven years younger than he is), but the two now seem to get along fine.
Marina = The finalist. She won the first immunity challenge and automatically qualified for the final. She spend a night alone on a beach before the men arrived and showed there that the victory was not just luck, she was capable of surviving alone. But she was really happy when the men arrived, she got along much better with them.
Marjolein = The positive who turned negative. The first few episodes she was really happy to be on the island, but now she is done with the show because she is too hungry and she can’t stand the negative atmosphere between the other women.
Rita = The girl with the black eye. We don’t know much about her, except that during the first challenge, someone kicked her in the eye when she was swimming and she got a black eye.
Sabine = The harsh woman. She was the leader of first team Noord, where she tried to make an alliance with the younger girls. When one of these girls quit the alliance she got really angry and said she would murder the girl if she didn’t get voted out. But she got and after the voting, the teams merged after which she kinda disappeared.
Simone = The horny girl. She was voted out first by her tribe, but in a twist she was sent to the island and got to lead her camp for a while. She handled this slightly better then Carine did and was eventually accepted by her team. She is the one who longed the most for men, not only for their strength but also because she is desparate for some attention.
Yolanda = The potty mouth, she says what she thinks, but gets along with most of the other younger women.
