I'm A Celebrity 9 UK - Stuart wins immunity
Friday's show started off with a segment showing how the two camps are adjusting to the split.
In Exile Camp they deal with their hunger by catching, killing, cooking and eating a rat they found in camp. They all agree it tasted nice and had a chicken like taste to it.
The next part of the highlights shows Katie's latest bush tucker trial - Hell Holes Extreme. She has to climb up a rock-face and put her arm into holes and search for stars. As well as stars are other creatures like beetles, spiders, rats, snakes etc. She manages to get 9 out of 12 stars. Which means 6 meals for base camp and 3 meals for exile camp.
After the trial we are shown a few clips of how Joe is starting to annoy everyone. Joe has lived in Australia for a number of years and thinks he knows everything there is to know about the Aussie jungle.
We then move onto the first Bush Battle. In the Bush Battles, the contestants in Exile Camp will compete. The winner will get immunity from the first eviction and will move to Base Camp.
This Bush Battle has then covering holes in a tube. If they move their figures the holes will be exposed and the liquid in the tube will escape. The last one with liquid in the tube will be the winner. George plays mind games with the others and convinces them that after the count of 3 they should all let go and quit the game. On the count of 3 Lucy and Sam let go, but George doesn't and finds it amusing how easily they were tricked into quitting. Eventually Stuart wins the battle and is immune from the first elimination.
After the bush battle we see base camp welcoming Stuart and in the evening Joe moans about the way Sabrina cooked dinner. It ends up with Joe being nasty to Sabrina and making Justin cry!
At the end of the show we find out who the public voted for to do the next Bush tucker trial, which is called Vile Vending. Katie gets the most votes once again, and she will have to do the trial with the highest voted member of Exile Camp. Lucy and Kim were the top 2 with Kim getting the most votes and doing the trial. We will see Katie and Kim in Vile Vending during Saturday's show.
That's it for now. I'll review Saturday and Sundays shows on Monday.

Survivor Samoa: Mick won Immunity & Laura voted off (5-5 tie)
So, in Survivor it started with some tension of Russell playing the Idol last night and Kelly getting booted. Now, it seems that idol is going to be the dominating thing that gets people across. I just wish they had Exile Island, that's better than everyone getting to look for an idol. OK, so During the reward challenge, they all had to carry one person along a rope structure to get flags. Five of them won, and they got to go via plane to another neighboring island and have lunch by a waterfall. They also received a video of where the next idol is.
At Camp, they all scramble around to find the idol, and behold, with no surprises, Russell found another idol, making this his third idol. Shambo automatically talks about not standing Laura, and hoping Laura loses immunity so she could vote for her. At the Immunity challenge, the survivors had to break a tile with a rock. If they hit a tile, they'd get to move on to throw a spear at a target board. Only John, Monica, Bret, and Mick got that opportunity. In the second half, Brett got two close hits, but Mick was closer, and he won.
Before Tribal Council, Shambo is telling her own Galu tribe mates she will be voting for Laura, so the vote was looking to be 5-5, as of then. Then, Monica tries to develop a plan to get the Foa-Foa tribe members to vote for John, trying to force a 5-4-1 vote. However, John heard of this plan, and disapproved of it, making him consider voting for Laura. At tribal council, the vote came out, and it was a 5-5 tie. Five votes went to Laura and Natalie. Jeff Probst automatically states in the event of another tie, everyone except Mick, Laura, and Natalie would draw rocks, in which the colored rock person takes the blame. At the second vote, John ended up switching sides and voted for Laura, and Laura was voted off.
I'm not Happy with Laura gone, simple because she was the rock to Galu, and John had to mess that up. I hope that John stands no chance of winning this game. It's also painful to watch Laura lose to Shambo, who's so stupid. I mean, she's playing this game personal. She has sucked so much this game, simply because he probably doesn't take the time to play with her tribe. Galu had several opportunities to have all of them still there, but they fall apart. John may have sided with Foa-Foa & Shambo, but I don't see him staying with Foa-Foa, and he's probably going to try to use Shambo as a good ally, and try to play Russell, have Russell think he's staying with him, then boot Russell, downing Foa-Foa.
I really hope the Foa-Foa people stay together, and I hope to see Shambo & John make an attempt to go back to Galu, but see Foa-Foa burn them. Foa-foa has stuck together since the merge (3 rounds straight) and Galu has blindsided their own players (3 rounds straight). I want Foa-Foa to pull through. They got the best of Shambo, and John, now it's time for Shambo and John to pay their own mistakes for turning on Galu. Foa-Foa is loyal to Foa-Foa, they are just getting on John and Shambo easily. Also, Monica had a price to pay, simple because she tried to get four votes to John, in which I would've never tried to put someone on my own tribe in a situation like that, because you can never do that.
Love: Mick, Natalie
Like: Jaison, Brett
Neutral: Russell, Dave
Meh: Monica
Dislike: John, Shambo

BB 5 Finland: wedding
Hola my fellas. :)
So, this Saturday a couple, actually two couples is going to get married in the BB house. One of the couple is just two ordinary people in love Katja and Mikael. They were chosen from over 400 couples.
Then, the other couple is Antti and Henna, these two was BB-housemates last year and OMG! they are just looking for publicity. Dont know if their love is real, it might be, but i just think its kind of stupid. They are totaly going to steel the show.
I doubt that the other couple wants to share their wedding day with some wanna be celebs.
that sucks.
but, im happy for Katja and Mikael anyway.
so, thats the big news. :)

BB 5 Finland: "the past" part 4
Hello my friends.
Sorry for the poor updating. :( but now, i'm here.
soo, yet again, here we go. :D
Week 10: On monday morning the slums and paradise had a blindfolded football competition. after a few painfull hours the paradise won (not important!). Big Brother announced that the slums time had come and now everyone would live together. Hurraayy. the housemates was really happy, some cried, some just laughed and jumped around.
To celebrate the "reunion" a band called The Virtanen Band played for the housemates.
Big Brother alowed intrigueting, i meen, now everyone were alowed to talk about the voting and stuff. :)
As for the weeks task, the housemates got to play on the play station 3 a game called Uncharted 2 and they had to solve some "problems" and know the answers to some questions. when all the problems were solved they got a surprice jungle party as a price.
For the HH competition everyone had to play the Uncharted 2 game and the one who would get the best score (??) would win. Esa A won for the first time.
On thursday morning Kätlin left the house, she was on her way to the Philippines.
Up for that weeks elemination was Antti, Iida, Toni and Stephania. On Sunday, Iida left the house.
Cathy arrived to the BBF house that night. hurray.
Week 11: First of all, directly on monday, Dana and Saranna got to know that they would be up for elemination this week becouse they had been breaking the rules by not wearing the microfones.
All the housemates were so exited that Cathy had arrived the house. And who wouldnt be, she is lovely person. For the weeks task the finnish housemates had to introduce Cathy to the Finnish culture. She got to try the Sauna, party whit the finns, see her first snow and see Santa Claus (i doubt that he was the real one). Cathy had to learn a finnish song and then sing it together with her housemates, she also got to introduce the finnish housemates to the philippens food culture. Cathy got to talk with Kätlin over the internet. PBB told Cathy that she would have to spend a hole month at the BBF, this wasnt tru.
The finnish housemates had to sing a song to Cathy, who then would have to choose a HH. She chose Sami.
On Friday Cathy got to know that she would have to leave the house, when she told that she was leaving everyone was crying and really sad. :(
On the friday-saturday night Kätlin came back to the BBF house.
Up for the elemination was Saranna, Dana, Stephania, Antti and Esa A. On Sunday, yet again, one of the girls, Saranna, had to leave the house.
Week 12: the housemates got to spend a healty week at the Big Brother house, no smoking, no alchol and no sweets.
as the week want by the housemates got to expirience different kinds of exericses. I think everyone lost at least a couple of kilos that week.
For that weeks HH competition the housemates had to guess how long it would take to burn different kinds of foods. Sampo won the HH.
Up for the elemination was Sami, Kätlin, Esa A, Toni and Stephania. Sami left the house that Sunday.
One of the old housemates, Tuija, returned to the house, she are on a secret mission there. she has to convince everyone that she is the next weeks HH, shes automaticly in the finale and she can take someone with her. haha.
This week was probably one of the most boring ones. arggh.
Soo, now i think we only have a couple weeks left. :(

I'm A Celebrity... 9 UK - Camilla quits, Joe arrives
Episode 4 - Wednesday 20th November
Every year there is a live bushtucker trial, and this years will be hold in today's episode. As usual the public vote for who they want to do it, and as usual they will probably vote for the same person they have voted for all week.
More on that later, firstly, the show starts off with a segment about Kim's very loud snoring. Well she's loud in every other aspect, there was no reason to think that her snoring would be any different.
The next part of the episode is highlights of Katie's bushtucker trial, Celebrity In A Bottle. She had to lie down inside a giant glass bottle and correctly answer six questions about Australia. In the bottle with her were 2 buckets of meal worms, 60,000 cockroaches and 10,000 crickets. She got 3 questions correct which meant she won 6 meals out of 12 for camp.
The next segment featured Kim going on at Katie about how much Katie loved publicity (stating the obvious there), then Stuart and Sabrina did the celebrity chest and showed how rubbish they are at maths.
Then we got to the first celebrity to exit the camp this year. Camilla decided that she would walk because she was feeling too weak to continue. No-one seemed to try and persuade her to stay (not even the producers) and so she left the show almost immediately. Camilla's departure isn't much of a blow - in fact she had been so much in the background that had they have not shown her departure it could have been days before I noticed she was missing.
The next segment dealt with the arrival of Camilla's replacement. His name is Joe Bugner and he is a retired former heavyweight world boxing champion.
The final 40 minutes of the show are taken up with the live trial. Joe was immune from the vote as a new contestant. The hosts read the results and guess what.... yes, the public have voted that Katie will do the trial (Justin again received the second highest number of votes).
Now the first year that this voting pattern happened it was really funny to see the same person being picked on by the public day after day. But now it's got to the point where it is just boring. I want to see some of the others doing the trials.
Anyway, we get to see Katie being covered in goo and insects yet again.
The trial is split into different parts and takes the form of a school classroom theme.
1) She has to put her face in green goo.
2) She has to put her face in a tray full of meal worms (the point of the goo part was so that the meal worms now stick to her face)
3) Collect 3 words from a sphere which was full of snakes
4) Get into a pool of baby crocodiles (that had their mouths tied closed)
5) Drink a beetle juice shake
6) Pour liquid from a test test into a container whilst wearing gloves filled with green ants
7) Get into a pool of eels and solve a maths equation
8) Put on a coat which is filled with cockroaches
She did well at the trial and scored 9 out of 12, meaning 9 meals for camp. The ones she failed on were parts 5 and 7, she also got 1 out of 2 in part 6.
Episode 5 - Thursday 21st November
I guess the producers realised that the show was getting rather boring - no major fights or tension and no major talking points. So today they decided to split the camp into two and turn it into a bit like Survivor.
Before that we were shown clips of Joe's first morning in camp, then a repeat of yesterdays live trial. Then were were treated to a conversation from Kim telling Justin to have his moles removed from his face. After that it moved onto Katie and her personal life and then how horny Gino is in camp.
Finally we get onto the camp split. Two team captains are chosen at random and they are Colin and Lucy. They then have to choose who they want on their team and the split is
Colin's Team - Colin, Justin, Katie, Sabrina, Jimmy and Joe
Lucy's Team - Lucy, Gino, Stuart, George, Sam and Kim
Next comes the immunity battle. The winning team will be immune from the first eviction and will live in base camp. The losing team won't have immunity and will live in Exile, which will be even more of a dump than base camp was.
The challenge is a classic survivor challenge. Each contestant holds a pole and has to keep a button pressed. They last one remaining will win immunity from their team.
Gino is out first, followed by Justin. In the end it is Sabrina and Stuart. After over 2 hours Stuart suffers from severe cramp and Sabrina is the winner. Sabrina, Colin, Justin, Katie, Jimmy and Joe are immune from the first elimination. The other team will get chances to win individual immunity in the coming days.
The episode ends with the results of the next Bushtucker trial. It's called Hell Holes Extreme and George and Kim are immune on medical grounds again. Gino and Katie get the most votes and yes, you've guessed it, Katie got the highest votes and will do the trial. We'll see that on Friday's episode.

Expeditie Robinson 2009 Netherlands/Belgium: Episode 12
Blog post by Arthur
Episode 12
Jeroen and Kurt take part in a battle to stay in the show. It's the toughest and longest battle so far, with the tower of cubes almost reaching the length of the two men. At the end, it's Kurt who loses the game by bad luck: a wind blows the tower over. Jeroen wins and gets to stay in the game. Meanwhile, Rita is having major trouble with the lack of food. She has lost a lot of weight (she is so thin that it is almost scary to look at) but does not want to leave the game. She is so close to the finals that she really wants to stay. She survives by trying not to think about food, although that is difficult because everybody is always talking about food.
When Jeroen arrives back at camp, Marina is very disappointed. Not only because a strong player returned but also because the other candidates pretend to be happy to see him. According to Marina they are hypocrites: first they vote him off and not they pretend to be happy to see him. Jeroen asks the other candidates to not vote for him at the next tribal council because he has taken part in two tribals already. Esmeralda is not impressed by this and still wants to vote for him, but Marcel is open for suggestions. He knows that Dennis and Esmeralda are strong people as well and asks Jeoren if he would be interested in voring for them. Even though Jeroen has always said that he is not interested in the tactical game, he realizes that he will not win if he does not play the game. Later, Marcel talks with Esmeralda and tries to get her to turn on her best friend, Dennis. He tells her that he would never vote for her and he hopes that she will do the same.
At the immunity challenge, the candidates have to go through an obstacle course. At the end of the course are four meals and one mystery price. The fastest person gets to choose their price, followed by the second fastest and so on. Jeroen is the fastest and picks the mystery price. Marcel is second and picks an hamburger with french fries. Esmeralda is third and picks the pizza. Dennis is fourth and goes for the chocolate and Rita is last and wins a sandwich with cheese. Once everybody has eaten, Jeroen receives the mystery price. He hopes that this is a challenge, but it turns out to be an extra vote. He is not happy with this, he says one vote for or less won't make a difference. After this, the candidates take part in the immunity challenge. For this, the candidates have to guess how much time they took to go through the challenge. At tribal council it will be revealed who was closest to their true time and wins the challenge.
After the challenge, the candidates compare their times. Marcel finds out that he is way off and will probably not win the immunity. He is very disappointed abuot this. Marina is also very disappointed because the other candidates got to eat and she had to go without again (as guaranteed finalist she cannot take part in the challenges). Later there is a twist: the candidates can give up the individual immunity in exchange for fruit. All but one candidate (Jeroen) vote in favor of this, but the other candidates convince him to also give up his chance for immunity. Everybody can eat some fruit, but Jeroen says he is sure that he will get the most votes at tribal council again and complains some more about this.
Right before the candidates go to tribal council, Marcel talks with Jeroen and tries to convince him to vote for Dennis and Esmerlada. He says he will get Marina to go with them so they can eliminate Dennis or Esmeralda. At tribal council, the hosts show who would have won individual immunity if the candidates had not gone for the food. This turns out to be Esmeralda, who was five seconds off. After this, the candidates vote and these are revealed. It turns out that Marcel, Rita and Jeroen have two votes and that Dennis has three and Esmeralda four. Dennis & Esmeralda will battle eachother in the next challenge.
So in details the voting:
Dennis = Marcel & Rita
Esmeralda = Jeroen & Rita
Jeroen = Dennis & Esmeralda & Esmeralda
Marcel = Dennis & Esmeralda
Marina = Dennis & Esmeralda
Rita = Jeroen & Marcel
Dennis = Marcel & Rita
Esmeralda = Jeroen & Rita
Jeroen = Dennis & Esmeralda & Esmeralda
Marcel = Dennis & Esmeralda
Marina = Dennis & Esmeralda
Rita = Jeroen & Marcel

American Idol 9 will launch January, 2010
American Idol will be the seventh American series I have blogged. I started watching American Idol in Season five, but it didn't end very well. I wanted to watch it again in 2008, but Big Brother's winter season came on almost at the same time. I watched season eight, in which they made a few changes to evolve the show. It seems to be ironic that two of the US's biggest shows (Idol & Survivor), were failures in the UK, whereas in the UK, their successes are Big Brother (formerly) & I'm A Celebrity, and here they are just mostly looked at as Summer fillers.
In Season eight, they gave us three new elements to the show, and now only one of them has been confirmed for returning. The first new addition was a fourth judge, that being Kara DioGuardi. She made a good edition to the show, simply because she meant business and was a fair judge, completing the objectives of her as a judge. Next, they went from a top 24 to a top 36, in which they brought back a wild card episode, and gave us a top 13, with 13 finalists.
In Season eight, they had some memorable people, including the finalists who made the final four, Alison Irahita, Danny Gokey, Adam Lambert, & Kris Allen. They were a good final four, and the ones who stood with the most potential, and they were a good final four. Also, I easily remember the disappointments, Katrina Darrell, aka Bikini Girl, who showed up to her audition in her bikini. She was very hot, except, most AI voters are women, who aren't into appeal of another woman. Also, I was very appalled over Nick Mitchell, aka Norman Gentle, who was horrifying as he got to perform.
They have also given us some more things to change the show with. First off, Paula Abdul, the judge since season one, will not be in the next season. During the auditions, the auditioned will be face to face with a special judge, one for each city hosting an audition. Lastly, after the auditions we will be given the fourth official judge, Ellen DeGeneres, whom is actually a talk show presenter, and has nothing to do with the music industry. I hope she has logic opinions, and doesn't does the job.
I have some potential for AI9, and I hope it's good. I look forward to the next season, how about you all?

I'm A Celebrity...GMOOH 9 UK - Katie arrives
Episode 2 (Monday 16th November)
It's day 4 in the jungle and we have a segment about Camilla not being able to sleep.
Then it moves onto Kim's bushtucker trial. It's called Dreaded Descent and she is locked in a perspex box and lowered underwater. She has to collect stars amongst the creatures (yabbis, cockroaches etc) that are dropped in the box a regular intervals over 10 minutes. As I expected she coped with it very well and managed to collect all 11 stars.
The rest of the show is taken up with Katie Price entering. Katie was a contestant on the show 6 years ago. She had to do a special trial before she entered which involved her collecting balls in water and putting them in a basket. She collected 7 balls and that meant 7 treats for camp (like coffee, sugar, chocolate etc.) However, in order for her to get the treats she had to agree that all the contestants luxury items be taken away from them. She agreed to this.
I guess the producers were hoping that having their luxury items removed would create tension but actually they just handed them over and nothing more was said about it.
Katie joined the others and everyone continued to get along nicely.
The public vote for the next trial was predictable. The trial is called Deathly Burrows and the public voted for Katie to do it. That wasn't surprising given that the whole episode had centred on her so she was the only one in the publics minds. We will see the trial tomorrow.
Episode 3 (Tuesday 17th November)
The first segment of clips features George going on about how great the British people are and about how everyone is pulling together and getting on well. Hopefully he will change his opinion of the British in a few days or we are in for a boring 3 weeks.
Next we are shown Katie's trial - Deathly Burrows - she has to crawl through underground tunnels and burrow through walls to find stars. She managed to get 4 stars before they poured water into the tunnels and she shouted for the trial to stop. She seemed to be having a minor panic attack as she was being pulled out. Her reaction to the trial will ensure that the public chooses her again every day now as that is how the public always vote for the trials, choosing the same person every day. So far there is no hate figure in the camp, until one emerges Katie will just get picked on by the public.
The rest of the show was pretty dull, we had segments about breasts, farting, cooking and Katie's hellish 2009, also we were shown Jimmy and Lucy getting the celebrity chest.
The next trial is called Celebrity In A Bottle and surprise surprise, the public voted for Katie to do it. Interestingly, the person that has received the second highest number of votes all 3 times has been Justin. I'm not entirely sure why the public have taken a dislike to him.
We will see Katie's trial as well as a live trial in an extended episode on Wednesday.

TARUS15 - Meghan/Cheyne take 1st & Gary/Matt are eliminated.
TAR is winding down, faster than Survivor, because that still has ten left to deal with where here in TAR, we’re down to four teams. The teams were headed to Estonia, where they had to take a ferry which didn’t leave until well over 12 hours everyone left the pit stop, bunching everyone up. In Estonia, they had to make their way to a “secret” Merchant Brotherhood house where in this roadblock, one person had to use a candle, search for a marked room, with a number and receive a clue. The clue had nothing visible written on it, so they had to use the candle in order to read the clue. Then in Pikk Hermann Tower Garden, teams received their detour: sling (slingshot veggies at a moose sign to release their clue) or serve (play volleyball in a buddy bog and score five points). A wooden tower on the bog land was the pit stop.
Meghan/Cheyne - Meghan/Cheyne were pretty much in first in this leg, they were the first to the Merchant place, and Cheyne finished the roadblock first. They got extremely fortunate to breeze through the detour, choosing the volleyball, since Meghan is a volleyball player. Before any of the teams arrived to the detour set, Meghan/Cheyne arrived to the pit stop, taking first place for the fourth time. It seems things are almost going their way when it comes to getting first place. They got their second first place through the Fast Forward, which ultimately helped them get a back-to-back first place, since the Dubai legs weren’t bunching up, and they easily take first this time over a sport she plays. Whenever they are more stressed out, and freaking out more, they don’t seem to carry first place, though.
Sam/Dan - Sam/Dan first started racing very closely by Meghan/Cheyne, but at the roadblock, Sam didn’t seem to get the invisible clue first. After finishing, and looking for another taxi, they ended up sharing a bus type taxi to the detour where they couldn’t find the marked pathway. They ended up beating Brian/Ericka out on the volleyball court and during the detour, faced off with the Globetrotters. They simple took second place, just seconds behind then, the Globetrotters, they beat out.
Flight Time/Big Easy - During their time, they were simply just only ahead of Gary/Matt, as one of them ended up using a crayon to scribble their clue, not knowing they needed to hold it up to the candle. During the detour, they followed Sam/Dan & Brian/Ericka in a mater to find the marked pathway to the detour set. They squared off with Sam/Dan in a fight to the pit stop, as one of the Globetrotters supposedly tripped Sam or Dan. I honestly didn’t see the globetrotter literally trip them, because I’m pretty sure that physical violence on this race would lead to disqualification or a major penalty. The Globetrotters easily take third place.
Brian/Ericka - They started off, ok, as Ericka was the second person to finish the roadblock. What put them behind was not being able to find the marked pathway, as the same for Sam/Dan & Flight Time/Big Easy. They couldn’t outrun the Globetrotters or Sam/Dan to the muddy volleyball court, so they opted to do the sling detour. They finally finished the detour and moved into the pit stop at fourth place. If only they had another volleyball net, they could’ve maybe placed a bit higher, but oh well, they’re still there.
Gary/Matt - They started off the race with a speed bump, which was to spend time in a sauna on a bus. Now how epically creatively sweet is that!?!? Matt struggled to find a candelabra, putting them furthered behind. Then, Gary & Matt struggled to find the clue box at the Tower Garden, putting them even further back. They chose to do the sling detour, and at the pit stop, they were told by Phil they are in last place and have been eliminated. They had a teary goodbye, and really talked about their appreciation of the race, and just being together.
During this race, we can now clearly see there’s a rivalry between Flight Time/Big Easy & Sam/Dan. I would like to say that I’m neutral on this feud, as it appears that both of these teams have intimidated each other-and others. For instance, the Globetrotters have been seen psyching Mika out and aggressively behaving around Sam/Dan and Sam/Dan are saying stuff such as “Did Your fans help you get here!?” and stealing Brian/Ericka’s taxi, we’re supposed to see next episode. I think their rivalry is pointless. I mean, can’t they just be glad they have something to fight for, and can’t they just enjoy the race. I would give my clothes on my back, strip down naked then rub myself with maple syrup and roll in maple leaves (with paparazzi, of course) just to travel & see inches of the world, and not just on a TV screen or Google images, I know I would. What I’m saying, at this point of the race, is the experience of traveling the world with someone who love is clearly worth more than $1,000,000.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 9 UK
The 9th season of I'm A Celebrity got underway in the UK last night. Whilst Big Brother UK has been going downhill in recent years, I'm A Celebrity has been getting better and better. Overnight ratings show that yesterdays launch show got over 9 million viewers which is very high.
The launch show followed the familiar format that we have seen in recent years. We were first introduced to the celebrities. I have to say that I had not heard of most of them, which is unusual for me as I am usually familiar with most IAC contestants. Perhaps I am spending too much time watching reality shows and not much time watching soaps or cheap daytime cooking / DIY shows.
Before the celebrities started on their journey into camp, they had to choose 2 (a male and a female) to do the first bushtucker trial. Sam and Gino were chosen and they had to swin to an island where they would spend the night before doing their trial the next day.
The other 9 celebs were split into groups. Sabrina, Lucie and Colin entered camp by doing the skyjump. Camilla, Jimmy, Stuart and Justin went on horseback. Finally the 2 oldies Kim (67) and George (70) walked into camp.
The following day, Sam and Gino did their bushtucker trial. The first part invloved them putting their hands in containers filled with things like crabs and octopus to find stars. For the second part they had to put a live water spider in their mouths for 30 seconds. The 3rd part was putting their heads into yabbis and beach worms to grab a star. And for the final part Sam had to search through a cabin containing eels and crabs to find 2 stars (which she failed to find) and Gino had to where a helmit containing spiders for 90 seconds (which he achieved).
At the end of the trial they had 9 out of 11 stars which meant there would be 9 meals and 9 beds in camp. It wasn't exactly a memorable trial, most of the elements we had seen before and neither of the celebs freaked out much over what they had to do.
The rest of the launch show was taken up with the celebrities first night in camp. They are all getting on well for the moment, although that is pretty standard, it usually takes a couple of days before the sparks start flying.
Also, the public voted for who they wanted to do the next bushtucker trial which was called "Dreaded Descent". The one with the most votes was Kim, and we will see her doing the trial on Monday's show. She isn't the person I would have chosen as I think the best people doing the trials are the ones that will be useless at them and I think Kim will cope well with the trials. She is used to dirt, grime and creepy crawlies from her job so I doubt the trial will phase her. But she is the loudest and most outspoken contestant at the moment and they are always the ones that the public choose for the trials.
At the end of the show the hosts revealed the "big surprise" that we had been promised at the start. The may have hoped it would be a big surprise but as it has been front page on the national newspapers for the last week, it was not a surprise for us and will not be one for any of the contestants. The "surprise" was that Katie Price (aka Jordan) would be entering as the 12th contestant. For those of you who don't know, she was a contestant back in season 3 and her romance with fellow contestant Peter Andre was probably the main talking point throughout that years show. She is now going back into the jungle and I'm sure the producers will be hoping that she stirs things up a lot - we shall see.
I thought the launch show was OK. I'd rate it as average so far. Nothing too memorable happened but it wasn't boring. I won't give my opinions on each of the contestants at this stage as a lot of them were mainly in the background and I don't really have much of an opinion at the moment.
So that's the end of my review of the launch show. If you want to continue with the blog then drop me an e-mail and I would be happy to let you.

Expeditie Robinson 2009 Netherlands/Belgium: Episode 11
Blog Post by Arthur
Episode 11
The elimination battle, of putting cubes on top of eachother, is won by Rita. Marjolein is not able to place the seventh cube on the sixth, which makes the tower collapse. She has to go, something she regrets but she is also happy with the things she achieved. When Rita arrives back at camp, she is welcomed greatly by the other candidates who are much happier to see her than they would be to see Marjolein.
Back at camp, Marina attacks Jeroen because Jeroen said at the last tribal council that he thinks he is received votes because the other candidates think he is too strong and the other candidates would rather go to the end with their friends than with someone strong. Marina says she didn't vote for Jeroen because he is strong and says he's arrogant to say that he is the strongest. Nobody backs Jeroen up, which upsets him. Later he notices that his old friend Kurt spends more time with Marina and Marcel. He thinks he is losing all his friends because of tactical reasons, people don't want to be around someone who receives many votes. Meanwhile, Kurt, Marina and Marcel discuss the voting and say they want Jeroen and Dennis to receive the most votes at the next tribal council. Jeroen, because they don't like him, and Dennis, because he is playing too many sides.
For the immunity challenge, the candidates get a certain number of balls in a "tube". The challenge is to grab one ball from your own tube, climb a construction and put the ball in someone else's tube. When someone has twenty balls in their tube, they are eliminated and the person with the most balls after fifteen minutes is eliminated as well. This continues until one person is left. At the beginning of the challenge, Esmeralda, Dennis, Rita and Jeroen take out Kurt. The next one out is Jeroen. A while later, the fifteen minutes are up and because Marcel & Rita are tied for number of balls, both are elimnated. Esmeralda and Dennis continue to fight, but fifteen minutes later it is obvious that Esmeralda has more balls so she is eliminated. Dennis wins the challenge. He also wins an extra price: he gets to meet someone's loved one. At the previous tribal council, one name was drawn and the loved one of that person is the one Dennis will meet. He obviously hopes that this will be his boyfriend, but it turns out to be the wife of Kurt. Dennis and Kurt's wife go to a little resort, where Dennis can eat what he wants and can tell Kurt's wife all about her husband. When the meeting is over, he tells everything to Kurt who is really happy to hear something from home.
Later, Dennis and Jeroen have a discussion where Jeroen complains that he might be eliminated because he lost immunity. Dennis explains him that it is smart to vote for the strongest people because otherwise he will be eliminated. Jeroen takes something else from the conversation: because he thinks he will get the most votes, he thinks it is smart to vote for people who will get a lot of votes, so there will be more people in the elimination battle and his chances of being eliminated get smaller (why he doesn't just make an alliance, I don't know. It's probably his holier-than-thou attitude). Marcel and Kurt also discuss the voting. Marcel explains that he will try his best to keep Kurt in the game because Kurt has said he will never vote for him. He will cast his votes for people who may get the most votes, so Kurt will be saved.
At tribal council, everybody does what they have been doing all along (which kinda makes all the conversations useless) and vote for the people who have received votes. When these are revealed, it turns out that Esmeralda has 0, Marcel has 1 and Rita has 3. Kurt has 4 and Jeroen 6, so the two men will battle eachother in the elimination battle.
Since Jeroen had 6 votes, everybody voted for him. Other votes shown were Jeroen & Rita voting for Kurt. I think Marcel, Marina and Kurt voted for Rita, so Dennis & Esmeralda would be the other voters for Kurt and Jeroen voted for Marcel.

Survivor Samoa - Laura immuned & Kelly Voted Off (4 votes)
During this episode of Survivor, it basically starts off with Natalie killing a rat, and no, it wasn’t Shambo. Darn it. The Survivors ended up eating the rat, as we hear the famous Survivor phrase “This rat tastes like chicken” (Survivor Borneo flashback). Then, it was time for a reward challenge where they had to collect coloured coconuts on a pole and rearrange them into a sequence of numbers to have one person solve the combo. It was Dave, Monica, Kelly, Shambo, and John who won, They won a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to slide down a pile of rocks (a waterslide, made of rocks!) and eat chicken, massive sized donuts, and other food.
During this reward, the Survivors were all given their first immunity idol clue. Meanwhile, back at camp, Russell scrambled and scrambled around camp to find the idol, in which he assumed it was at camp. Sure enough, he fins the idol right under the bridge. Producers, please, just next time cut away with reward challenges and clues, just have them compete for an immunity idol by running around in circles at camp. That should cover fifteen minutes of my time once a week. Anyways, Russell shares the fact he found an idol to Shambo, where they easily talk about getting Laura out.
At the immunity challenge, the Survivors had to throw a hook at one of two bags and bring them to the end. The first three to finish will move on. It was Mick, Shambo, and Laura who moved on to round two where they had to use blocks to figure out a pattern on a board. Laura easily took charge of her fate in that challenge, and by talking to herself, she easily won. Laura may perhaps turn to be the female Ozzy, winning almost every immunity. That would be epic. Then, Shambo cries about the fact she can’t get rid of Laura, and she literally makes a desperate, sour face at her confessional.
So, the Survivor were all strategizing over who to get rid of. The former Galu tribe mates were all about sticking together, so they all agreed to vote for either Russell or Natalie, mainly Russell since he could easily have another idol. Russell is now unsure about what to do, play the idol and possibly see Natalie go, or not play, and possibly see him go. At Tribal Council, Russell ended up playing his idol, and was spared from the seven votes he did receive. It was ultimately Kelly who received the four votes, from the Foa-Foa four, and became the second person to join the jury.
I completely have so much respect for the Foa-Foa four, they are sticking together, unlike Galu’s Shambo who’s so worried about swapping sides to boot Laura it’s as if that’s all she cares about. In the game of Survivor, a tribe that sticks together goes the furthest. United We stand, divided we fall simple applies to Survivor very well. In thee past, we see that tribe who have stuck together (Tagi, Boran, Chauy Gahn, Chapera, Koror, Casaya, Aitu, Moto, Jalapao) lasted out to become the finals in the finale. Laura is about the one from Galu I like, the rest are just there, and then there’s Shambo. Next week, we’ll see all ten of them scrambling find that idol. That should be fun. Also, I want to see lots or just one comment, I really like getting them. Who are you all rooting for?
LLNMD List:
Love: Laura, Russell, Mick, Natalie
Like: Jaison, John, Monica
Neutral: Dave, Brett,
Meh:
Dislike: Shambo.
Also, Congrats to World Of Big Brother for reaching over 100 blog posts!
